Shark Attack
You’ll be surprised how many amputees take shark attack photos (as this gallery will show!) To be honest though, I’m more impressed with this gigantic snow shark that looks to have just been constructed by hand but it must have taken forever and had at least five people involved, right?
Gone to Market
This is a common joke among toe amputees, and a simple Google search will reveal how many people have had a tattoo drawn on their foot of a sign saying that whichever little piggy is missing has gone to whichever place that little piggy is said to have gone to in the nursery rhyme!
Skeleton Legs
If you were a doctor or a nurse and you strolled into the hospital ward to this sight would it freak you out or make you laugh? This guy obviously has a wicked sense of humour, and I’m willing to bet this wasn’t the last time he used his leg amputations as a prank to shock people!
Lampshade
This is a good way to make the best of a bad situation, and at least she never has to think twice about what her Halloween costume is going to be – this is sure to be her staple costume for any dress-up party, and will always be a winner. Although you’d think balancing on one leg all night would be a challenge, especially after a few drinks!

Cup Holder
How awesome is this! Any time this guy sits down with a drink, all he has to do is twist his prosthetic leg upwards and he place his drink (or book, or whatever) on the bottom of his upside down shoe! He seems pretty damn stoked about it too, and so he should!
One Foot in the Grave
This is a nice little example of some dark humour, because this person quite literally has one foot in the grave. But it probably serves as a nice reminder to him or her that life goes on and it’s not the end of the world! Although, the tattoo probably gets seen by people walking behind them more than the person itself, but whatever!
LEG-o
Ever seen the movie Planet Terror? That girl with the machine-gun for a prosthetic leg? Yeah, she started out with a fake LEGO gun for a leg too, until she got bored with it and moved on to the real thing – so the authorities might want to keep an eye on this girl!
Shark Shoulder
I’m sure any time this guy brings a girl home, she gets quite a shock when he pulls his shirt off to reveal he has a gnarly shark tattoo right across his amputated arm and up his shoulder! I wonder if a shark is how he lost the limb, or this tattoo just fitted the mould properly so he went for it?
Flamingo Costume
What an elaborate and tedious Halloween costume… but this guy is clearly right into his dress-ups, and isn’t afraid to use his leg amputation to stand out and presumably win the “best costume” prize every year! Surely he didn’t walk around like this all night, right? That seems like it would be near impossible unless you’re a Cirque du Soleil performer.
