10. Carlo Gambino
He was born on August 24, 1902, in Palermo, Italy. He was raised in a Sicilian Mafia family, so becoming gangster was natural for him. Carlo was involved in various crimes and gang-related activities at an early age of his life. He was only 19 years old when he was appointed as a member of the Mafia (otherwise known as a ‘made man’). He killed Albert Anastasia – the boss of Luciano crime family. He remained a gangster for over 20 years till his death.

He was a well known bank robber. His life was very short, he lived only for 31 years. In his life, be also broke out of prison two times.

The Kray Brothers were born on 24th October, 1933, in London, England. Reginald “Reggie” Kray and Ronald “Ronnie” Kray were twin brothers who, in 1950, started a gang called “The Firm”. The two brothers were involved in murder, assaults and armed robberies. They also opened a nightclub in London, and had a lot of money.

Al Capone was born on January 17, 1899, in Brooklyn, America. His nickname was Scarface. He became a gangster after being expelled from school at the age of 14. He had assaulted one of his teachers. He became a member of the Five Points Gang in New York, and made much money from prostitution and brothels, as well as bootlegging.

He was born on September 5, 1847, in Missouri, usa. He became a gangster at the time of the “Wild West” and the American Civil War. He was a guerilla fighter, and participated in bank robberies, and street crimes.

Charles was born on November 24, 1897, in Italy. He is widely regarded as the father of organised crime. In his teenage, he moved from Sicily to the Lower East Side of New York, and then finally started residing in Italy. He was involved in activities like street crimes, murders, prostitution, kidnapping, and robberies. Charlie Luciano was an incredibly powerful man.
